The loyalty card that lives in your customer's phone, not a drawer.

Nine coffees, tenth free — tracked automatically, sitting in their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet next to their bank cards. No plastic card to lose, no app for your customer to download, no per-customer fee for you. Your staff scan their code at the till and that's the whole workflow.

01 / THE CARD

A stamp card they cannot lose.

"Nine coffees, tenth free" — in their Apple or Google Wallet, stamped by your staff at the counter. It is on the phone they already carry, so it never ends up in a drawer or in the wash.

Apple Wallet & Google Wallet
02 / THE PACK

Printed QR for the counter.

Print it yourself for nothing, or we post you the pack: a counter card, a window sticker and four table tents. That QR is the whole front door.

03 / THE DASHBOARD

Who came back, and how often.

Visits, regulars, stamps, redemptions. Change the reward, post today's offer, message everyone who has scanned in. All from your phone.

In their wallet

It sits next to their bank cards.

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, both. One tap at the counter and the card is on their phone for good — no app to install, no account to make. Stamps fill in as your staff scan, and the finished card pings them.

Your colour, your stamp icon, your reward wording — all picked in the dashboard, and the card redraws itself in every customer's wallet the moment you save it. Upload your own icon or a background photo if you'd rather.

In your shop

Three steps, and none of them are yours to remember.

No new hardware, no tablet on the counter, no training day. If your staff can use a phone camera, they can run this.

01 / ONCE 🏷️

Put the sticker out

We give you a QR sticker for the counter. A customer scans it once and their card exists — no form, no sign-up, no email address.

02 / EVERY VISIT 📱

Your phone scans theirs

They show their code, your staff scan it, the stamp lands. Takes about two seconds and works on the phone already in their hand.

03 / THE PAYOFF 🎁

The reward fires itself

At the tenth stamp the card completes, the customer is told, and a fresh card starts. Nothing for you to track or tally.

The honest comparison

Paper punch cards vs. a digital one.

Paper works — that's why every café has a drawer full of them. But you already know where it leaks. Here's the same card, both ways.

What happensPaper cardOpen Locally
Customer loses it Gone. They start again, and they resent it. Can't be lost — it's in the wallet on their phone.
Cost per card Printing, reprinting, the ones that walk out unused. Nothing. Unlimited cards.
Fraud A borrowed stamp does the whole sheet in one go. Each stamp is a scan, logged with a time.
Who your regulars are A feeling. You'd guess wrong on the top five. Ranked list in your dashboard, by visit count.
Reaching them again You can't. The card is one-way. Message everyone who's scanned in, free.
Quiet Tuesday You wait. "Free upsize till 3pm" — sent in one tap.
Why this one is different

One card app. Every business. That's the part nobody else has.

Most loyalty tools give each shop its own little island — a separate app, a separate login, a separate card your customer forgets they signed up for. Open Locally is one membership in the wallet they already carry: your branded card sits alongside every other local place they belong to, and their Open Locally card is the master key they never delete — it works everywhere, so it stays.

Which means joining your shop is one tap, not a sign-up form — the network delivers you customers who are already members. Your card, your stamps, your list. See how the whole network fits together →

🔁

Every shop feeds every shop

Someone who scanned in at the barber can discover your café. The network works for you while you're closed.

📣

Shareable by design

Deals travel. A customer forwards your offer to a group chat and it spreads without an ad budget.

🎪

More than stamps

Spin-to-win, quizzes, scavenger hunts, bingo, competitions — all in the same card, toggled on when you want them.

📍

The whole city

Events, deals, local news, property, open homes — the bot stays useful between visits, so it stays installed.

Card type 01

Visit card

The counter QR stamps a visit automatically when the customer scans in. Zero effort from your staff — the customer does the work themselves.

Best for: cafés, bars, gyms, salons, anywhere the visit is the thing.

Card type 02

Purchase card

A staff-only QR lives by the till. Scanning it stamps a purchase, so the stamp is tied to a sale rather than a walk-in.

Best for: buy-9-get-1 on a specific product — coffee, cuts, washes.

Run either. Or both at once — they don't conflict.

📣

The list you didn't have to build.

Every stamped customer is someone you can reach again — for free, forever. No email list, no deliverability, no spam folder, no unsubscribe drama. It lands in their Telegram, from your shop, the second you send it.

This is the bit that pays for itself

📊

You find out who your regulars actually are.

Your dashboard ranks customers by lifetime visits, counts stamps collected, and shows how many cards completed. Most owners are surprised by the top five — the loud customers aren't the frequent ones.

What it costs

Free while we are small. Cheap after that.

the earlier you join, the less you pay

Every shop starts free — you never pay before you have seen it working in your own shop. The first ten get three months; everyone else gets their first month. And early shops carry the most risk, so they pay the least: the first ten get three months free, then six months at the founding rate before the standard price.

Printed starter kit — optional

A counter card with your QR, a window sticker, and four table tents, printed and posted to you. Skip it and print your own for nothing — the dashboard makes an A4 sheet on one tap.

$15ONE OFF Buy kit
Pay by card, or ask us to invoice you — either works. Card payments are handled by Stripe; you can cancel any time from the receipt email. Founding shops (the first ten, free for 3 months): checkout takes your card but charges nothing — you'll see NZ$0.00 due today and the date your first payment lands. Cancel before that date and you are charged nothing at all. We take the card up front so the card in your customers' wallets doesn't stop working the day your free run ends. The extras — spin wheel, broadcasts, quiz, bingo and the club panel — are included in the plan, not sold separately. Every plan also includes the club panel — the same card and offers, running in the corner of your own website. It's one product with two doors, and one price covers both.
Prices are in US dollars unless marked; pick your local currency at checkout via the links above. The printed kit is NZ$15 within New Zealand. The full terms are one page, in plain words.
Straight answers

The four things owners always ask.

"What's the catch? Why is it free?"

No commission, no setup fee, no per-customer fee. Open Locally makes money later from paid placement and premium features — not from your loyalty card. The basics stay free because a local platform is only useful to locals if the shops are actually on it.

"Do my customers need another app?"

No. The card lives in the Apple or Google Wallet they already have, and your shop opens from one QR in any browser. Telegram is an optional extra for the chat crowd — never a requirement. Either way you get a free line back to that customer forever, which SMS and email both charge you for.

"How much work is it for my staff?"

One scan per customer, on the phone they already carry. There's no tablet, no card reader, no POS integration to organise, and nothing to reconcile at the end of the day.

"What if I want to stop?"

Turn it off in your dashboard. Nothing is locked in, there's no contract, and you aren't paying for it in the first place.

Straight answersNO SMALL PRINT

Do my customers have to install anything?

No. The card goes straight into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or lives on a simple web page for anyone else — nothing to install. Telegram is the optional upgrade with competitions, the spin wheel and the full card book.

Can the card go in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?

Both. The stamps update on the card in real time as you scan, and a full card pings their phone — they never have to open anything to see where they are up to.

What happens to my customer list if I leave?

It is yours. Ask and we export it. We do not sell it, rent it, or market to your customers behind your back.

Who does the stamping?

You or your staff, on a phone at the counter. Staff get the scanner only — never your numbers and never your settings.

How long until it is actually running?

Set your reward, put the scanner on a phone, get the QR on the counter. Most shops do all three in one sitting, and we walk you through it after you sign up.

Set your card up in five minutes.

Choose how many stamps, choose the reward, print the sticker. That's the whole setup — and if you'd rather we did it for you, just ask.
